Some episodes of the solemn events in the history of the journal “Russian Gallery - XXI Century"
Pavel Sokolov, Editor-in-Chief of the journal «Russian Gallery – XXI Century», solemnly presents a diploma and journals to artist Elena Vogulkina, a resident of the international journal «Russian Gallery – XXI Century»
It was not the first time that I enjoyed the journal “Russian Gallery – XXI Century”, since at the beginning of the year I received an annual subscription to it as a gift from my relatives. And my artworks were published in the 5th issue of 2019. Therefore, when I opened the package with journals and a diploma, I already knew what was inside. But this fact by no means did not reduce my delight of the publication and the copies I received. I am going to send one of them to my teacher.
I was lucky to cooperate with the journal “Russian Gallery – XXI Century” and its editorial staff throughout 2018. As a result, we made four publications in four issues of the journal. So, I have a considerable experience. Publication in a journal is a laborious and difficult process that requires coordinated work of both an author and editors. But when you work with high-level professionals, the work is going fine and brings pleasure and an effective result.
I would like to express my deep gratitude to the journal "Russian Gallery – XXI Century" for their excellent publication! Everything was done professionally and on a high quality level! I especially enjoyed the content of the article. The text turned out to be quite balanced and pleasant to read. The visual components of the article were well-chosen, and the layout of the photographs of the pictures was perfectly interwoven with the text. And the journal itself, of course. It’s nice to hold it in hands due to a very high-quality printing, and the content is interesting!
I sincerely express my gratitude to the editor-in-chief of the journal Pavel Sokolov. From our first acquaintance and subsequent meeting in my gallery, where an examination of the exposition took place and works were selected to be placed on the pages of the journal, our friendship developed and we found many interesting topics for conversation. Deep knowledge and professionalism concerning art issues aroused genuine interest in me, and considering that I am a novice artist-sculptor working with wood, it was extremely interesting for me to find out from P. Sokolov about current trends in the art market.
Further interaction was associated with the painstaking preparation of materials for publication. The editorial board's interest in my work was vividly embodied in a colourful publication about my work, and in addition, a master class, telling about my original technique of work, was published on the pages of the journal.
I will not hide the fact that I was impressed by the quality of the journal and the typography, it has been a rarity lately. And the fact that the journal has such an extensive audience even abroad undoubtedly helps to show the artist's work to a wide number of people. I want to say with confidence that I got the opportunity to expand the boundaries of my creativity, as well as new friends. I thank the editorial staff of the journal and personally Pavel Sokolov.
ART DUET “MASTER AND KATERINA”
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the international journal "Russian Gallery - XXI Century" for an easy and pleasant process of cooperation, for working with a team of like-minded people, for an excellent publication in the journal. An article about our work entitled "Art Duet "MASter and Katerina". Sign and Image of the Mask" was published in 2021, in the third issue of the journal. The journal is wonderful, highly professional and contemporary, with well-chosen visual and textual material. It is pleasant to hold the journal in your hands, read and look at it. One is inclined to keep it and re-read it like a good book.
I received the 4th issue of 2021 with a published article about my work. And I want to express my deep gratitude to everyone who created and brings this project to life. I was enchanted by everything from the stage of negotiations to receiving a journal - the attention and patience of curators, layout, the very quality of the journal!
This project is not only a great opportunity for people of art to show their work to the world, but also a wonderful opportunity for any connoisseurs of the beautiful to discover something new in the art world. Once again, a huge thank you to everyone for the work done and the magnificent result!
In the modern media age of human existence, art journals and magazines take on a completely different perspective, given the hyperactivity of social networks and platforms. Their work is narrowed mostly by an elitist culture demands of which are very extraordinary and high. Journal "Russian Gallery - XXI Century” (to which I am immensely grateful), as I believe, fits in perfectly in these complex realities, offering a sophisticated reader the highest level of creative product, both in form and in content: thoughtful design, order of sections, relevance of the published material, freshness of printing quality standards, paradigm of the essence of the journal itself (emphasis on finding and discovering new names in the visual art) - all this shows the correct top-of-the-line direction of the journal "Russian Gallery - XXI Century" in these difficult but interesting times. The offer to publish my graphic fantasies was a completely unexpected moment in my life, giving me confidence to fight creative "battles" in the travails of current art, but the goal that we all have is one - creation of original art product.
It was in 2018 when I worked with the journal "Russian Gallery - XXI Century" making an article on my creative work. The article titled “Philosophy of Colour” was published in the 4th issue of the journal in 2018. The process of my cooperation with the journal was well organized and negotiated with me from the stage of the article layout to the final product. My wishes and requests were taken into account.
The article about my carved art was published in the journal "Russian Gallery - XXI Century" at the end of 2018, and, I must say, it was very pleasant and significant for me. Cooperating with the journal was a positive experience - from the preparation and approval of text materials and photos to a perfectly made layout.
The 6th issue of the journal in 2019, where my works were presented, turned out to be perfect and was full of great design solutions. The articles covered precisely selected information, and the article on my art was no exception. Thank you very much! I am looking forward to the opportunity to collaborate with foreign galleries.
